and co-owner of Boulevard. Her experience in the culinary
world spans
three decades, including opening the highly successful L'Avenue. In
2001, she was named
Best Chef: California by the James Beard Foundation.
Today, she is one of the most celebrated, recognized chefs in America.
Nancy lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Bruce Aidells.
Pamela Mazzola is Boulevard's chef de cuisine and has been working
closely with Nancy Oakes for
more than fifteen years. When she's not in the kitchen at Boulevard
Pam frequently teaches
cooking classes and volunteers her time to local charities, such as
Meals on Wheels.
She lives with her family in the Oakland hills.
